Career Description

Vendasta has an exciting new opportunity available for a Training Facilitator, who will be responsible for training and teaching our ever-growing team. The Training Facilitator will construct, coordinate, evaluate, and oversee all educational training programs for Vendasta’s new hires and existing employees. Reporting to the VP of People Operations, they will be responsible for identifying and fulfilling staff training and development needs to ensure strong initial—and continual—product and industry knowledge, as well as professional development among Vendasta’s employees. The ideal candidate will be familiar with various training and educational methods and, ideally, digital marketing or Software as a Service (SaaS).



  • Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs and curriculums, as well as ongoing learning opportunities across Vendasta in support of the organization’s and employees’ needs
  • Oversee and facilitate bi-weekly Vendasta University courses for all new hires
  • Evaluate and improve effectiveness of weekly informational sessions across various divisions
  • Identify needs for and construct, coordinate, and oversee management training sessions for various leaders and managers throughout the organization
  • Identify needs for, evaluate, and work collaboratively with various departments to implement a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
  • Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies—partnering with individual departments to outline deliverables and expectations
  • Work collaboratively with various experts across the organization to gain and share product and industry knowledge

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in an educational/training setting (preference given to that in software/technology sector)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education/Human Resources/Psychology considered an asset
  • Experience in digital marketing and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) considered a strong asset
  • Proficient in various training methodologies and techniques, as well as curriculum development, for a wide variety of roles and required skill sets
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present to and engage with large groups of employees, Executives, and organizational leaders
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate a number of duties at once and prioritize effectively
  • High energy and enthusiasm, with demonstrated ability to engage and motivate others
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while balancing competing demands
